Ways to Stimulate Lymphatic Drainage

These are some of the most effective ways to help your body drain stagnant lymphatic fluid! Most of these healthy habits can be done every day and at home. Take these suggestions and add them to your wellness tool box - consistency is so important when it comes to caring for our lymphatic system!

These are some of the most effective ways to help your body drain stagnant lymphatic fluid!

- Daily Sun Exposure & Grounding - we should be getting outside every day for a minimum of thirty minutes. Stick your feet in the grass and get the sun on your face. This energizes every cell in our body and circulates our lymph.

- Hydration - this health practice is overlooked because it sounds so simple. Sip warm water throughout the day and it will help move toxins out of our body and keep our digestive fire alive!

- The FlowPresso - we offer this relaxing therapy to help you increase circulation, reset your circadian rhythm, break up fascia (cellulite) and move your lymph. It is a forty five minute session that puts your body into a healing (rest and relax) state. It is truly life changing!

- Clean Eating - one of the first ways to improve our health is by correcting our diet. Everything we eat and drink either enhances our health or causes metabolic dysfunction in our body (which leads to chronic illness). Focus on eating cleansing whole foods that are anti-inflammatory.

- Sleep - the majority of our lymphatic fluid drains at night time while we are sleeping. If we are not getting enough sleep each night, then our lymphatic system stays stagnant and our body accumulates toxicity. It is imperative to get 8-10 hours of sleep a night and even some naps during the day. This is extremely healing and essential to improve our health and function of our lymphatic system.

- Dry Brushing - this is a simple way to maintain a healthy lymphatic system. Dry brush for a minimum of 10 minutes a day and it will help move the lymph. In addition to moving the lymphatic fluid, dry brushing is a great way to exfoliate the skin.

- Movement/Exercise - daily exercise is essential for our health. Walk, bike, run, hike - these are great ways to stimulate lymphatic drainage. If you have a job that requires you to sit in a desk all day, make a point to get up every  30 minutes and walk.

- Red Light Infrared Sauna - using a near-infrared light sauna has so many health benefits for us. One of the main benefits is increased circulation and lymphatic drainage in the body. There are also individual red lights that can be purchased to use on the body which also helps drain the lymph.

In our modern world, where we are disconnected from nature and bombarded by toxins - we need lymphatic drainage therapy to improve and maintain our health!
